Let Me Introduce Myself
My name is Taen and I am an Adelaide based photographer. I use my Nikon D3200 and absolutely love it. I love taking scenic photos, anything out in the open, bright flowers and insects. Right now I am trying to focus more on photographing people and different facial expressions and emotions, and body language.
My Story
I come from a small town in South Australia called Renmark, I was born and raised there by my parents who currently still live there with my two younger siblings. I met my partner when I was fourteen years old and once he had finished high school in 2011 he decided to move to Adelaide for better work opportunities. Almost a year later I moved in with him and got myself a job as a retail assistant. He bought me my first camera for my Birthday in 2013 and to this day I still use it every chance I get.
Travel
I went on my first over seas trip to Thailand Phuket in 2014 with my partner and his family and managed to get some beautiful photographs because without a doubt, I took my camera everywhere we went! I went on my second over seas trip in 2016 to the Gili Islands in Indonesia with my partner. Gili Trawangan was a very secluded, private and intimate place to really get in touch with nature and yourself, as there are no means of transport other than horse carriage or by walking. I didn't pull my camera out as much as I'd hoped to on this trip but I was just enjoying myself way too much! I travel to and from Renmark and Adelaide quite often, always stopping at Truro and Waikerie to get some photos on the road side of the magnificent hills and amazing cliff edges.
